
Next Steps Early Learning Centre (Next Steps) is a new, state of the art, independent, 156 place child care and early learning center due to open in January 2018. The Centre has currently completed the construction on 5,800sqm of prime open land in Waurn Ponds, Geelong. The center is adjacent to lovely bushland, large grassed areas and an open field, close to the Epworth Hospital and community areas which the staff and the children of all ages will explore on regular outings within the educational program.
This is an exciting opportunity for suitably qualified and experienced Early Years staff to put their mark on a new centre from the outset. The successful applicants will need to be able to understand and support the Centre’s Christian foundations, ethos and values. This does not preclude other religious beliefs, all are welcome providing their values align with the Next Steps Mission.
Understanding of contemporary early years and best quality practices are key success factors, a high degree of competency in the area of building strong relationships with our families and the children are at the center of our program decisions.
The Board is willing to offer and negotiate an above average salary and conditions package in order to secure the right candidates.
